Dear Rainier School District Community,
We are hopeful that the unexpected weather systems are behind us for the rest of the school year. That said, we have reviewed the Oregon Department of Education’s instructional minutes requirements and compared those requirements against this years’ instructional minutes. After a thorough review, we are pleased to report that we do not need to make up any days at this time.
As it stands at this time the district calendar is accurate as presented. Therefore:
April 28, 2023 is a non-school day. May 26, 2023 is a non-school day (but will be scheduled as a make-up day if any school closures are necessary between now and then).
