Community Invitation: Long Range Facilities Committee

Dear Rainier Community,

As we look ahead, we want to ensure that Rainier School District facilities meet the needs of our students, staff, families, and the community. To that end, we are forming a Long Range Facilities Committee and are seeking community members and district staff to participate. This group will review our current facilities needs and explore options for addressing them, including the possibility of a future capital construction bond.

The committee will meet a few times between May and October 2026 to:

• Review the district’s facilities assessment

• Consider possible funding options

• Discuss priorities and long-term planning

• Reflect community input

• Develop a recommendation to share with the Superintendent and School Board

This is an advisory group, and its work will help inform future decisions. No final decisions have been made.
