2026 Licensed Bargaining Updates

On Wednesday January 21, 2026 the Rainier School District began contract negotiations with the Rainier Education Association. Our goal is to establish a collaborative process that will allow us to settle on a contract that is beneficial to students and staff, and that is fiscally responsible for our community.  Right now the expectation is the sessions will be every other Wednesday at 5:30-7:30 pm moving forward.

Linked below are updates summarizing meetings between the District's and REA's bargaining teams.
